martiensgohome is a project that started in 1996 and has been active ever since. Itsmain outlet is radio, and it has maintained a continuous presence on the air by proposing one hour of program each week, based on improvisation and montage, on radio campus, in Brussels. The show is organised around what each performer brings to the mix each week: field recordings, instruments, texts, performance directions, etc. The show has evolved through the years, following the line-up changes, the guests musicians passing by, the evolution of technologies, and its own collective frame of mind. The show is now also broadcasted on radio pi-node. Recently martiensgohome has also taken part in the radio art zone project.
