The martiensgohome project was never limited to the medium of radio and the collective has also
performed live, built sound-installations, produced records and tapes and created objects like
a usb-key with 24h of music, a set of musical postcards, a book of soundwaves.
This illustrates their interest in the questions of diffusion and media. This residency is a way to go further 
in this interrogation. While their radio program is a fairly linear proposal, a moment in time, they
would like to try and build something else for other circumstances. 

The theme of the radio show was, early on, to disrupt the normal flow of a radio station and produce
interferences, unusual narratives, strange voices and noises. This idea, though still interesting to them, is no longer sufficient today. It is moreover unsuitable or unworkable in a live context or in a recording situation. This is why this residency will be a time of reflection, away from the radio studio, to devise new
strategies for playing, for composing and for recording.
