Sarah van Lamsweerde
Sarah van Lamsweerde creates performances, installations and publications that focus on the relation between art and its observers. Her work has been presented internationally in theatre as well as visual art contexts such as the 3rd Ural Industrial Biennial in Yekaterinburg, the Akademie der Künste der Welt in Cologne, Bunkier Sztuki in Cracow, Performatik Brussels, Veem House for Performance in Amsterdam, etc. She founded Stichting Tre Tigri with the aim of enabling projects in limbo – individual and collective projects with no prescribed discipline. Alongside her own work, she contributes to practices and platforms such as IM Company (Paris), Performing Objects (ErfS, Brussels) and BAU Dance & Performance (Amsterdam). She lives in Brussels and Amsterdam.
