During his stay at Q-O2, Kim Laugs will investigate the various methods in which a voice and the message it conveys are distorted or faded to the point of misinterpretation and the miscommunication resulting from it.
What do we hear when indirect mediums translate a human-generated sound and influence its meaning? What do we hear? What do we want to hear?

The final installation will use various forms of sound transmission and perception, combining them, mixing them, and diffusing them.
The stand-alone final project is meant to interact with both the space and the public, underlining their influence on room acoustics and interference on the sound.
