During my residency at Q-O2 I will work on my ongoing project Field Studies, a series of works on the practice of field recording.
In particular I will focus on the gap between the experience of recording in an open environment – listening through a set of microphones, amplifiers and headphones – and the recorded results, and on the possible ways of including recurring aspects of the recording experience in the listening experience of the recorded material, through a slight alteration of the recording itself and electronic and electro-acoustic sounds.
