Marko Ciciliani: New composition

The Brussels based duo The Third Guy (percussionist Ruben Orio and guitarist Primož Sukič) is commissioning new works by the composers Caroline Profanter, Marko Ciciliani and Michael Maierhof. Through interactive performance of moving video projectors or three dimensional sound placement, the new works show different approaches towards the contemporary organisation of sound. The relation to moving image, which has become a predominating force in the art of our age, is explored too. After its first performance at Q-O2 in Brussels, the project will tour around Europe in early 2018. The initiative is supported by The Austrian culture forum in Brussels.
