The mosh pit is a cluster of people gathered in front of the stage at concerts. In the mosh pit the audience dance energetically and push against each other. The mosh pit is a ritual space for fans and affiliates. A condensation of energy and ecstasy. However, in the mosh pit, generally perceived as rather masculine, white and violent, there is also a form of care being performed: a physical game of pushing away and catching each other, a dance between alertness and loss of control, between physical collision and bodily sensation, mental spaces and possible worlds. During her stay at Q-O2 Louise Vind Nielsen will dive into the moshpit, which will be the conceptual and artistic focal point of her research.
