Chrs Galarreta creates sound from tones and silence. For this he uses unusual electronic devices, self-made instruments, controlled software errors and non-auditory tones. He processes all of this into audiovisual installations and performances.
Seiji Morimoto creates sound performances, installations and videos. In 2003 Morimoto moved to Berlin and has meanwhile performed and exhibited at numerous international festivals in Europe. He is interested in the precarious acoustic balance between everyday objects and technical media.
Patrick Thinsy has been playing music for the last 10 years, in rock, collective improvisation and solo settings. Using turntables, no input mixing board, synths, field recordings and objects to create his sound, from violent bursts of feedback to slow evolving electro-acoustic soundscapes. As a visual artist, he’s working on sound installations, objects, films and paintings.
Pauwel De Buck is a soundartist living and working in Ghent, Belgium. He utilizes location recordings of the urban environment to combine them with analogue electronic sounds. The end result is as much time based as it is sculptural and spatial. The work traverse between concrete sound environments and abstract sonic spaces. His sound works are released at the London based Entr’acte label.
Adam Asnan is a London based composer-performer of musique concrète, acquiring an MA under the supervision of Denis Smalley in 2009. Adam’s work promotes the aesthetic potential of fixed (recorded), amplified sound, and the instabilities of a format; the auditory ‘image’ subject to intervention, or the whims of its artifice.
