In the Wormsongs Vega creates a digital language that covers
the spectrum between noise and pure sine creating a style that
can be described as micro-minimal with a passion towards
machine-kind.

Inspired by Spiegel’s voice, Vega orchestrates streams of
automatic sounds with a vocal part to match. Basing himself on
this sound-world he composed the music for the Wormsongs in
‘block’ gestures. These pieces are stripped away from the idea of
lyrical lines, replacing them instead with automatic instruments
triggered to an equally automatic vocal part.
