Born 1978 in Cologne, Germany. Started playing guitar in the German grindcore-band "Comatose", with whom he toured extensively on the European squatter scene, and later recorded. Went on to study Jazz-Guitar in Utrecht and Rotterdam, where he graduated in 2004. The past years he has been involved in projects of various styles: singer-songwriter, contemporary compositions and noise-impro, as well as composing and performing music for several dance-choreographers. At the moment he is promoting his own group 'El Stick'. A trio that works with trough-composed modern jazz material combined with raw rock energy. This formation will be touring Germany and Poland in April 2005.
