Frédéric Nogray is a self-taught musician, improviser and composer living in Paris. He pays a particular attention to the vibratory qualities of sound, to its propagation into space and to the various states of consciousness induced by the listening. Years after years, he has used electronic and electroacoustic devices, developed an instrumental work with crystal singing bowls and composed with field recordings. His works have led to many concerts, recordings, installations and collaborations, including the duo The Imaginary Soundscapes with Stéphane Rives.
