Luis Campos and Stephanie Quirola present a listening session shaped by recordings that have either directly or indirectly influenced them. Sounds that linger, haunt, resurface, or have quietly creeped into their consciousness. A transition between the self and others, they trace forms of taste generated from the indirect, public (dis)order, mediated memory, geography, algorithms, markets, and intimacies with the more-than-human world and the « unknown ». The session considers how we construct narratives to make sense of reality and how those narratives are continuously shaped by forces both personal and collective. A sonic exploration rooted in uncertainty. Music felt at the back of the neck, behind the brain, where memory exists as sensation, where pure stimulus of memory lies.
