The Personal and the Political
Romy Rüegger and Deena Abdelwahed reflect on the ways in which you can relate to the world and how you can interpret the past as part of the present. Their performances approach and actualize the personal as the political, or analyse the personal politically. This performance and this concert are part of the other the self series at Q-O2 in which gender, voice, language, and identity play central roles.
Romy Rüegger is an artist and author. She lives and works in Zurich. In her performances she works with layers and montages of social, historical and architectonic spaces. Deena Abdelwahed is a Tunisian DJ and electronic music performer who has continuously been expanding her horizons since she moved to Toulouse.
