OPEN14:00u – 18:00u + on request (tel. 0478 201 239)During his stay at Q-O2 Jason Kahn will be working on some ideas and technical solutions to the room installation [I][B]Wires[EI][EB]In this piece Kahn will investigate the acoustic and spatial properties of a given space (in this case the Q-O2 Werkhuis) through the use of steel wires suspended vertically and horizontally. The wires will be resonated by computer-generated sound waves (sine, square) through piezo loudspeakers affixed to the wires. The central idea behind [I][B]Wires[EI][EB] is to delineate a space acoustically, creating shifting sonic topographies to allow the installation visitor a way of discovering space through sound
