01/10/2017 - 31/10/2017

Désolé, cet article est seulement disponible en EN

Interfaces is an international, interdisciplinary project, involving partnerships between organisations across Europe. Through Q-O2 workspace, Interfaces calls for residency proposals for artists, practitioners, theorists, and educators working in the fields of sound, music, site-specific and/or participatory strategies for residencies of 1-2 months each in Brussels, Belgium between January 2018 to June 2019. Interfaces is a project focussing broadly on audience development. We are particularly interested in artistic projects that look at ways to connect to the city, experimental modes of producing knowledge, and discursive or educational formats. Residency proposals should demonstrate the applicants motivation and field of interest, as well a clear outline for the residency. There is no requirement for the presentation of finished work during the residency, but participants should be open to exchange with other artists and neighbourhood communities (e.g. workshops, talks, work-in-progress showings, …).

Who should apply:
Artists / practitioners / theorists / educators working in the fields of sound, music, site specific, or participatory strategies.

We offer:

750€ living expenses
travel allowance to and from Brussels (within Europe)
contacts and network within the city of Brussels
possibility of public presentation (performance / exhibition / talk etc) if desired
