Voice AI Covers are reinterpretations in which an artist’s voice is transposed onto other songs. Used by fan cultures as a creative tool to expand the works they cherish, these productions blur the line between virtual and real, between tribute and transformation.

Building on this phenomenon, the project explores the emotional charge carried by these artificial voices—perfect in their imperfections. The samples, generated through experiments with open-source AI (RVC and community voice models), become raw material for composition: a sonic playground where glitch, fragility, and unpredictability shape the music. This research will culminate in a live performance examining how technology reshapes emotion, presence, and vocal identity.
