Writing About Sound is a seminar-structured workshop that will examine techniques for the complex task of describing sound. The focus of the workshop will be on applying these techniques to sound art, however the exercises presented could also have application in creative and critical writing. Participants will explore a number of exercises designed to stimulate writing and then examine how these can be applied in the creation of both literal and poetic texts.
