The Enlightenment

A performative-concert of pure light where the orchestra is replaced by an electric set-up.

Replacing the violins are vertical neon tubes, instead of the drums are the strobe lights illuminating the audience. Through a mechanical system and a particular process we will extrapolate the sound of the electric current, passing through the circuit until the generator (lamp) will produce light. So the audience will be blinded by the subjects of the performance it self, creating an “unwatchable” show accessible especially by closing eyes and opening ears.

During the residency at Q-o2 we’ll work on one specific chapter of the performance, a chapter where the lighting system is smooth and more gentle compared to the rest of the show.
