PARK58
21/09/2008 - 14:00-20:00

PARK 58, an urban utopy, is an initiative that aims at a creative reinvention and participative re-appropriation of the city of Brussels, starting from the imaginary mental transformation of Parking 58 (a carpark in the centre of Brussels, build in 1958 for the worldexpo) into a park: PARK58. On September 21 the parking will be the location for ‘58T’, a festive event with an artistic marathon, performances, concerts (a.o.: Justin Bennett, Gaetan Bulourde, Ice Age, Penskyplochingen, David Helbich, P.A.R.T.S., Pom Bouvier & Chloé Dutreffle, DJ Baxter Lewincsy, Kurt Ryslavy, ………………….). Traces of the performances and artworks will be exhibited in Recyclart, Josworld & Brussels-Congrès train station from October 31. Soundcreations and recordings will be integrated into a 58T-vinyl, to be launched also on October 31st. Several Brussels-based cultural associations and artist collectives collaborate to organise this event: Bn Projects, SECONDroom, Q-O2, Josworld, WAD.
