Speleologica
During his residency, Marius has developed techniques and tools that expand the possibilities of exploring the inner dimension of the body with sound as a material trace, by using a piezoelectric microphone on surfaces such as flesh, rocks, calcite, etc. A space is recreated where the imagination can be projected into a virtual place made up of flesh, warmth, echoes – a place conceived solely by sound in a musical appearance.
The result of Marius’ research at Q-O2 will take the form of a thirty-minute performance of the sound piece Speleologica, in which he is navigating between several sound and instrumental devices, poems and a computer.
