Entre-temps

Inspired by the sounds and passing images she has captured through the windows of moving trains, the musician Farida Amadou presents an audiovisual installation in two parts. 

A first space, with two plate-reverbs presented as metal sound sculptures, is mixed with amplified piano strings, allowing the public to create a sound improvisation. The plates will vibrate and send solo compositions, sounds of recent collaborations with musicians from all walks of life, recorded during the year 2020. A second space will present moving images of trains all over Belgium filmed by Farida Amadou. 

This is a shared residency between Overtoon, iMal and Q-O2, in collaboration with Europalia.
