RadioShellac is about to broadcast a radio programme which would have enchanted wireless listeners in 1927 or 1933. The programme will be picked up locally on Q-O2 on 18 June next. Its retransmission, 78 years after it first hit the air waves, will undergo spatio-temporal perturbations so as to bring the sound aspects up to date. This will be a unique opportunity for listeners to enjoy some of the acoustic recordings that were immortalized on the old 78rpm shellac discs.
