Chris Watson uses field recordings to recount his memories of the Antarctic expedition he went on in 2009 with David Attenborough. Whilst snow blindness may have become a familiar concept, snow deafness is still a mostly unknown and highly underestimated phenomenon. Chris Watson stretches your eardrums across an imaginary polar landscape, evoked through the poetry of age-old sounds that have never actually found their way into the ears of civilisation. Let everything seep through and freeze amid the stunning setting of the Whale Room of the Natural History Museum of Brussels. Advance bookings only. Tell us about your favourite Brussels sound via listen@myfbs.be and secure your place at this unique event. More info: [L]http://www.myfbs.be[eL]A collaboration of RITS, Recyclart and Q-O2.
