During his residency at Q-O2, Ben Bertrand will work on a piece for ensemble and electronics.
He will search on how he can compose a piece in which the instruments of the ensemble (strings, percussions, clarinet, …) can interact with the electronics. Furthermore, he will also develop his research into the beauty of the physical properties of the sound: he will search how he can use multiphonics, acoustic beats and resultant tones created by an ensemble and how he can make them interact with electronic devices as delays.  During this residency, Ben will collaborate with several musicians to
develop this language.
