Stéphane Clor
Stéphane Clor has a double education in music and visual arts. He graduated from the Académie Supérieure de Musique de Strasbourg (HEAR) in 2013 and from the University of Applied Arts in Vienna (Universität für angewandte Kunst, Wien), from which he obtained a Master of Arts in 2016.
He creates music with string instruments, objects and rudimentary electronic systems. He is inspired by minimalist, traditional, noise, acousmatic and repetitive music. He directs and participates in various projects mixing experimental musical writing with improvisation and often with a multidisciplinary dimension. He also creates sound installations as well as visual works using drawing, text and photography.
Artistic director of the sound thought cooperative « Dreieck Interférences », Stéphane Clor also collaborates with many other ensembles, collectives and labels located in his region and elsewhere. In parallel, he has also carried out numerous artistic actions in schools, artistic and cultural centres.
