Lucy Duncombe is a vocalist currently based in Glasgow. Through her practice she attempts to form an attenuated musical grammar of the voice and lyric embedded in notions of deficiency and disjunction. She explores themes of erasure, in which negation gives rise to the instability of meaning. Lucy largely works in collaborative contexts with notable performances including Tectonics Festival 2014 and 2015, with Asparagus Piss Raindrop at their Transmission Gallery residency, Emma Heddich (Arika's Freedom Is A Constant Struggle) and works of John Cage at John Cage at 100 at Glasgow City Hall, amongst other things.
