Hannah Lyssens
Hannah Lyssens is a young artist born in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium, who has since fallen in love with Brussels. In this inspiring city, she graduated with a master’s degree in audiovisual arts (radio) from the Royal Institute for Theatre, Cinema & Sound (RITCS). Hannah is an audio-maker, storyteller, and technical nerd with a passion for sound, music, and listening. Besides audio, Hannah’s second love is the performing arts. She desires to keep « playing » with sound. For her bachelor’s thesis, she explored the possibilities of transforming live movements into a mesmerizing soundtrack. This resulted in the performance Sonatine Tangel Bong, a plea for curiosity and play. For her master’s thesis, she made the audio documentary Arthur about growing, searching, and doubting.
