Daniel Dariel
Daniel Dariel is born in 1991 in Japan. His sound practice started by drumming before working with digital samplers and synthesizers. As a student, his practice of drawing and improvised music kept on in a same process; meeting painters and art historians influenced the reflection of his practice, which subsequently concentrated in instrumental improvisation. He had the opportunity to organize and participate in working sessions moderated by Seijiro Murayama and to work for Walter Swennen. Daniel Dariel is invited to play and take part in meetings and residencies in different formations and institutions in Brussels (Erg, Institut de Carton, WIELS...) and elsewhere.
