Rudi J is the latest moniker of Brussels based producer Michael Crabbé (fka Weird Dust, one half of Tav Exotic). In his work, he explores the overlap zones between soundsystem culture, bass music, and dub via a distinctive live practice and generous studio productions. Resistant to convention, his music offers a singular, contemporary perspective on dub music as a space for sonic exploration rather than stylistic adherence. He will be playing records that inspired him to make my his album, « I guess I’m not in tune after all« , maybe talk a little bit about sound systems, and maybeset up a little sound system.

Second Sundays is a monthly series initiated by Q-O2. Each session a new guest is invited to share an insight into their own listening, playing and speaking about a selection of sound and music that is important to their thinking or practice.
