Brocante Sonore (BE) is a collective of people specialized in acts of sonic, gestic and tactile dislocation and recuperation. Paraphrasing the maxim that “nothing is made, nothing is lost,” Brocante sets out to discover randomly captured “instants” from waves (making use of receptors for short waves, FM, atmospherical sounds), from microphones – often indelicately placed – (capturing sounds in the streets, in movie theatres, in nature), from sounds (manipulated guitars) and ordinary gestures (polishing shoes).
