Born in Venice, Giulia was immediately immersed in a particular dimension of space, time and sound. She creates electroacoustic music, she is a sculptress of sounds. Her experimental research is focused particularly on concrete, organic, rediscovered, fragmented sounds. She is particularly interested in the action of listening and sound diffusion. Besides her solo performances, she collaborates as a sound designer and composer with the project Dehors/Audela ( theater, video art and performance ) and she has a duo between sound installation and performance with the performer Laura Ulisse. Currently, as a Phd researcher in the University of IUAV, Venice, where she is investigating the dynamical relationship between architectural spaces and sound.
