Elijah Maja will present an overview and open discussion into his research on call and response – a feedback loop between listener and performer – as a technique and technology that binds together, sound, music and philosophies associated with it. The research looked into how this technology came about, it’s influence within music and it’s links to folklore and myth making.

The artist will also share visual and sonic works that speak to this idea, all which have been made and documented during his time researching at Q-02.
