In 2010 David Helbich wrote scores for pieces, that could be performed right at the sport, in whatever context, as long as one could freely use both hands and had two functioning ears. The pieces would offer notated situations of organized listening and simple ear manipulations. The reader as the performer as the listener.


During the residence at Q-O2 he wants to develop a performance concept inspired by these scores. The focus is on the individual activity of audience members during this collective situation, rather than on interactivity. The performativity of the individual in a public context and a very local, solo-experience in a collective environment, both carried by playfulness and directed by ones hearing.
