All objects have their stories and souls. During the residency, I will explore sound of objects from local, the surface and the texture of objects, the possibilities of usage beyond the normal way of using them, and the diversity of making sounds. To understand and imagine how they are used, stories related to objects, their relationships with time and space, and the possibilities within various contexts. The project aims to build alternative or possible relationships between human, objects and space.

Every thing has its soul, I’ll try to unfold histories and life experiences of objects, which might be real, imaginary or fictional. Through exploring and weaving sound of objects, field recordings, fragments of interviews, and electronic sounds etc., this project will present a meeting of the past and now. Listening to objects. Revitalization of objects.

Taking this residency as a beginning, I’ll extend to develop this project into various presenting forms, such as album, performance, installation and publication in the future.
