An informal gathering of people interested in audio recording qualities. We listen to the differences between microphone brands of the hi-fi and the lo-fi field and in different recording situations: outside/inside, far/close, ambiance/instrumental. We will listen and compare, do A/B (blind)tests, analyse spectrums, evaluate and discuss. Bring one or more of your own microphones and/or recording devices. In case you don’t have tools, just come and listen with fresh ears! Consider this workshop as a platform to try out, experiment and exchange.
