Samson PIGNOT-RENEVEY is gratuated from Grenoble fine art school. His work focuses on the way people tune themself to the place they live in. His performative and sound practices are influenced by work-song, imrovised and acousmatique music. Which tone do we give to our environment, to the landscape? How do we name/sing our relation with the world around ? How does these relation take shape day to day? His research often involves an heedful listening of the circles he runs through. It also includes anthropological and ecological questionning connected with gesture and way of life that he can observe and extract from their biotope. All of this draws up a plastic and acoustic located vocabulary that he diplays and links with the specificities of the environment he works in.
