Oscillation ::: from the Mothership – releases
Q-O2’s umland editions received some last messages from our beloved Mothership, in the form of four split releases featuring live recordings from the Oscillation ::: from the Mothership festival last spring. Featuring: Lawrence McGuire‘s synthetic/human vocal recitations, Madison Greenstone‘s unruly clarinet timbres, Vica Pacheco & Loto Retina‘s hydraulic sound sculpture dialogue, Ikbal Lubys‘ sonic ghosts of deforestation, Rhodri Davies‘ buzzing bray harp confabulations, Bárbara González‘s in situ assemblages, WACK’s (Jennifer Walshe & Neil Luck) surreal technological occultisms, and Tom Mudd‘s synthetic guitar models. The pieces, live recorded during the festival in different spaces are published now on four split albums, available online on our label umland editions on bandcamp.
Showcase Emerging Sound
Le 26 novembre, STUK, Q-O2, Musica et C-TAKT présentent leur showcase annuel du nouvel art sonore en Belgique. uite à un appel à candidatures ouvert, quatre artistes sonores prometteurs ont été sélectionné·e·s: Aminata Soumaré, Hannah Lyssens, Élie Bolard et George Dhauw. Chaque artiste a bénéficié·e d’une résidence et d’un soutien artistique et présentera son travail lors du Showcase Emerging Sound 2026 au STUK. Cette édition propose deux installations et deux performances. Les installations pourront être découvertes tout au long de la soirée dans les Ateliers, de 18 h à 22 h. En savoir plus
