Sylvain Chauveau and Charlotte Hubert designed the “Concert Kits” as a musical performance with a very simple principle: putting up short concerts in a camping tent for one spectator at a time. This performance was then played in various places (in the open air, in festivals, art galleries…) and various countries (France, Japan, Holland…)



The aim of their residency at Q-O2 consists in reworking all the aspects of this performance in detail, as it raised numerous technical issues: finding the most appropriate musical content for a tiny space devoid of electricity, managing the waiting time of spectators who are queuing before entering the tent, rework the visual atmosphere inside and outside the tent, finding ways to limit the discomfort of the kneeling position imposed to the musicians for two uninterrupted hours (time for all the spectators to see the show).
