The intrinsic scale – a vocabulary (working title)
Music touches us inside, both individually and collectively. The moment it does touch us, when we listen, however, is difficult to put into words.
Depending on the musical genre, people will formulate their sensation differently according to their personal and individual vocabulary.
What does influence this moment when we feel touched? Is it the sequence of tones in a certain space that creates an undeniable emotion?
Do we get touched in an inner space – and how can this space be formulated? Is it only music that is able to translate what comes close to us, what touches us? Or a combination of sound, language/ voice and space, and maybe an audience?
