During his residency he will adapt his installation ‘wires’ to the q-o2 environment. In this piece Kahn will investigate the acoustic and spatial properties of a given space (in this case the Q-O2 werkplaats) through the use of steel wires suspended vertically and horizontally. The wires will be resonated by computer-generated sound waves (sine, square) through piezo loudspeakers affixed to the wires.
