Aernoudt Jacobs will be working mainly on the project ‘String Theories’. The project revolves around the concept of sound induction into strings and early visualisation techniques from the 19th century. He will be investigating the project as an installation and/or a performance instrument. The concept of the instrument has already been developed. During the residency he will built the instrument and research further on the visualisation of sound.
