Z'EV (born Stefan Joel Weisser 1951 in Los Angeles) is an American text-sound artist and mystic who is perhaps best known for his work as a catacoustic (reflected sound-based) percussionist. Working in "anonymity even within avant-garde and noise circles" according to critic John Bush, Weisser has performed for over 30 years, and is regarded as a pioneer of industrial music.
