Luke Fowler
Luke Fowler (b. 1978) is an artist, filmmaker and musician based in Glasgow. He studied printmaking at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee. His documentary films have explored counter cultural figures including Scottish psychiatrist R. D. Laing and English composer Cornelius Cardew. Fowler won the inaugural Derek Jarman Award n 2008. In 2009, the Serpentine Gallery mounted a survey of his work. In 2010, Fowler was awarded a grant from the Foundation for Contemporary Arts through their Grants to Artists program.
