Etienne Graindorge is a sound engineer and producer of classical music. With degrees in science and music he studied sound engineering, computer music and production at the Paris Conservatoire (CNSMDP). He took part in several "young soloists" productions, such as "Allegro Barbaro" with Varduhi Yeritsyan, and "Bass walk with me" with Fabrizio Rat. Particularly interested in contemporary music and computer music, he designed the interaction system for the music and painting performance "A couple of times" with Fabrizio Rat and Myriam El Haik, winning the "Innovatoire" prize in 2009. In 2011, he was accepted into the musical studio La Grande Fabrique as a sound engineer and computer designer to work on pieces by Lorenzo Bianchi and Michele Tadini. He also joined the company Artefact for the performance of "Alaska Forever" at the Avignon Theater Festival, the Thymos Quartet and the dance compagny Saporta for the show "Notes+" at the Cité de la Musique, and the company Le Grain for a tour with Giardino della Parola, based on the works of Luciano Berio. In 2012, he created a musical and theatre piece with original music by Benjamin Attahir with Chloé Ducray L'Appel d'Ereshkigal. In 2014 he recorded two CDs with the record label Artalinna, "Meeting Ginastera" with the Cuban pianist Gabriel Urgell Reyes, and "Contemporary Works for Timpani" with Benoît Cambreling, featuring Yi-Ping Yang, members of the Bela quartet, and Emanuella Piemont, playing pieces by Carter, Ichiyanagi, Solbiati and Drouet.
