The upcoming residency by Begüm Erciyas relates to a piece that is a dialogue with an artificial voice. The audience enters a horizontal landscape. They spread out, lie down and make themselves comfortable, each with an interface pillow. The audience and the interface start a – partly scripted and partly unscripted – dialogue. They talk about the theatre and about the world. About the air inside and the sky outside. Sometimes they speak in unison. Sometimes they misunderstand each other. They repeat parts of the conversation. And sometimes, they just watch the ceiling.
